How to find us?

As of March 2016, we have relocated to the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences at the University of Queensland.

Our lab is located on the 3rd floor of the Molecular Biosciences Building.  The lab and office space was rennovated in 2009.  The Molecular Biosciences building is located at UQ's St Lucia campus and is a short walk from either the Chancellor's Place or UQ Lakes bus stations.  The campus is also accessible by car, train, ferry or bicycle.  Directions to the campus can be found here on the UQ website.

Visitors arriving via Brisbane Airport should note that the council bus service does not service the airport.  Options for travelling to UQ from the airport are:

Taxi (estimated fare $50-$60, travel time ~0.5h, allow more for peak hour)

AirTrain departs for Brisbane City (Central and Roma Street Stations) and the Gold Coast half hourly from both the Domestic and International terminals. A one way ticket costs $22.30 and travel time is around 45 minutes.  To get to the University, take the AirTrain from the Domestic Terminal through the city stations, getting off at Park Road station.  From there you should walk via the rail overpass to the Boggo Road busway station and take any bus headed towards UQ Lakes bus station.  Once there, it is a 10 min walk across campus to the Molecular Biosciences building.  Alternatively it is a relatively easy 30 min walk from Park Road station directly to the Molecular Biosciences Building through the Boggo Rd Ecosciences Precinct, along Annerley Rd and across the river via the Eleanor Schonell bus and pedestrian bridge.
